Easter Social

Hippity hop about, Café de Doos turned inside out. Why? To search for Easter eggs of course! The Easter bunny came early this year and hit a good number of its beautifully coloured eggs in Café de Doos on the 7th of April. It was up to the Parafridders to find them all. Among all the eggs a couple of special golden eggs were hidden, which were found by Nina and Annet! With a good pair of bunny ears on the head, or simply a whole chick, the evening couldn’t get any better.

Carrousel Clinic

Turning horse riding into a teamsport? But of course, and with lots of fun! On the 10th of April we got to enjoy an awesome carousel clinic at home at Manege de Bongerd. Many of our Parafridders came together to create a cool experience. Several figures were ridden in pairs in a large group, while sometimes splitting the left and right rows, with the aim of reuniting with your partner at the right time and continuing as one unit (preferably all while staying down in the saddle in trot!). It was sore muscle galore the day after, which was worth it because look at what a beautiful sight it was!

Dinner

After the successful pizza dinner in March, it was now time to enjoy a juicy burger. For this, we went to Wereldburgers on the 14th of April, where we enjoyed a delicious burger accompanied by a drink.

SO Hippocampus

Accompanied by the wonderful weather, our Parafridders travelled south for the SO organised by D.R.V. Hippocampus on the 23rd and 24th of April at Manege de Hostlinde in Enschede. Riders competed in the dressage class Bb, Ba, La, Lb and jumping B. The stars who scored some prizes for Parafrid are Rosan (1st place in Bb dressage), Kris (2nd place in B jumping), and Sylvana (3rd place in La dressage). The weekend ended with a bang with the theme ‘The little mermaid: Long time no sea’.
