12 may dinner and social
After a delicious meal of salmon, chicken, saté sticks, and veggie options at the “Ugly Duck”, Parafrid members explored the rides and booths of the local fair. To round off the evening, people gathered for drinks at De Doos, this time the theme was “back in the old days”.
21 may Stand-up paddling
Starting of at Bij de sluis, participants made it around the city centre on their paddle boards in 1.5 hours. After such an active afternoon in the sun, everyone was happy to relax, have some drinks, and eat some delicious ice cream. And as a happy little memory of the day, everyone woke up with sore muscles the next day.
22 may Trail Ride
Another day of sunshine invited members out to Manege Gasselte for a trail ride. Horses and riders enjoyed trotting along through the woods, and everything, apart from one slow, strategic decent, went smoothly. Afterwards, people stayed for some well-earned lunch and drinks.
28 en 29 may SO marcroix
The competition in Rotterdam was a big success for Parafrid, as we received the title for best performance (a tray of delicious brownies). This was thanks to the brilliant participants, Autumn, who placed 2nd in Ba, Linda, who placed 2nd in Bb, Merel, who came 2nd in La, and Hannah, who came 4th in La, and 1st in B Jumping.
